Baratza Sette 270Wi Espresso Grinder

With the Sette 270 Wi espresso grinder, Baratza has brought a novelty to the market. Its special feature is the conical grinding discs, in that the outer ring rotates and not the inner ring, as is the case with the usual conical grinders. This new design doubles the efficiency compared to mills of the same size. Another advantage of this technology is that the ground material falls directly into the portafilter, with minimal dead space. The Sette 270Wi comes with a built-in scale, which is something that only very few grinders on the market currently have. This grinder was designed in Seattle by the Baratza company, the technology for the scales comes from Acai, and the Etzinger company from Lichtenstein designed the grinding discs.

The "i" version includes an even more precise adjustment of the grinding quantity, when changing beans, grammage or the degree of grinding. In addition, the sensitivity to shocks and vibrations has been further optimised.

With the revised display, the Sette 270Wi has a regrind function(Quick Burst) and it can be connected to the Acaia Brewbar App, via Bluetooth, to record and compare the grinding processes. In the future, software updates can also be applied via the Bluetooth interface.
