Suitable for

The Bezzera DUO is the long-awaited dual boiler from the house of Bezzera. The DUO is available in two different versions. The MN has a classic E61 brew group with lever for manual control of the extraction. The DE version is equipped with Bezzera's own BZ brew group, which has 5 programmable buttons for controlling the extraction. Once set, one button press is enough to always extract the same amount of espresso.
Revolutionary is the large touch display, with the beautifully designed interface, all parameters of the machine can be controlled and set. The setting options are very diverse, ranging from the temperature of the two boilers, to an optional pre-infusion, a cleaning programme including reminder function, to an integrated timer to switch the machine on and off automatically.
You can see how much meticulousness has been put into the development by the fact that even a 10-second button lock has been thought of to prevent settings from being changed accidentally when cleaning the machine, chapeau!

In everyday use

The classic look of the DUO is convincing, the finely crafted wooden handles on the portafilter and rocker arms have a great feel and the sheet metal workmanship is typically excellent. If the espresso runs optimally, the automatic dosing system can be programmed to suit your own needs and you are rewarded with perfect brews time and time again. The machine offers a variety of settings to optimise the brewing process; in addition to adjusting the temperature of both boilers, a pre-infusion can also be set. Despite the many options, the menu remains clear thanks to good structuring.
