The Mazzer Mini espresso grinder is a direct grinder from the traditional house of Mazzer, which over the years has earned a firm place in the upper class of espresso grinders for the home. High-precision, modern manufacturing and attention to the smallest detail make this grinder so special. Mazzer dispenses with the help of subcontracted parts and manufactures everything itself in the factory, with the Venetian team drawing on over 70 years of know-how.

The heart of this elegant grinder is the 64 mm grinding discs with a high-precision espresso grind that achieves very high extraction rates and conjures up a first-class espresso in your favourite cup. For 2018, Mazzer has further optimised the grind of the grinding discs to achieve a faster grind. Now it grinds approximately 1.5 grams per second without sacrificing cup quality. The 250-watt low-speed motor grinds slowly and very gently. The aluminium housing is pressed into a single unit at 4 bar pressure, ensuring absolute freedom from play of the grinding discs.

To get the grinding discs running, there are two different versions. In the "A" version, the mill is controlled via a large display above the hopper. Here, two timers can be stored and a separate button can be used to regrind very precisely.

In the "B" version, the timer is triggered with the portafilter, tapping the reference button once triggers the 1 portion, tapping it twice triggers the 2 portion. To regrind, simply hold down the reference button.

The grinder setting is made via a small pin underneath the bean hopper, where the grinder can be adjusted continuously. The large grinder rim allows very precise adjustment and makes the grinder coarse enough for filter coffee.
