The Profitec Pro 300 is a portafilter espresso machine designed for home use. It is one of the smallest dual boilers on the market. Equipped with the very temperature accurate ring brew group, a PID display with shot timer and a quiet vibration pump. The machine is suitable for espresso lovers who want an exceptionally good espresso result in the cup in addition to a short heat-up time. The Pro 300 foams milk with dry steam. However, due to the small steam boiler, the frothing capacity is limited to two cappuccinos per frothing process. Small, compact and dual - three words best describe the Pro 300. However, the Pro 300 not only has technical refinements, but also impresses with good workmanship and an elegant, minimalist design. The housing is made of polished stainless steel, with the typical Profitec black PID display that matches the colour of the bakelite handles. A practical feature is the easily accessible control switch for the steam/service boiler, which can be switched on or off as required. This makes the already energy-efficient machine that little bit greener.

The Pro 300's minimalist design alone reveals a slightly different approach. Balcony architecture is what this design is called, and it makes up the heart of the Pro 300. Here, the filter support and the espresso boiler are one unit, known as a ring brew group. The advantage of this design is the fast heat-up time of around ten minutes and high temperature accuracy. This allows espresso connoisseurs with barista ambitions to get their money's worth even in the tightest of spaces. The built-in shot timer provides a good parameter for beginners as well as professionals. With the built-in Eco mode, the time can be set from 0 to 600 min, in increments of 30, or completely deactivated. Another nice feature is the intelligent water level sensor, which ensures that the machine's automatic shut-off only intervenes when the draw has been completed and does not stop in the middle of the shot.
