The Rancilio Silvia Eco is a portafilter espresso machine. It is one of the smallest single-circuit machines with good espresso results. The machine is suitable for espresso drinkers who are looking for an inexpensive machine with a very short heat-up time and still do not want to do without the espresso quality from a portafilter. When it comes to milk frothing, you have to be prepared to make a few concessions in terms of comfort and result.

In everyday use:

A little machine with a retro look. After switching on, the Miss Silvia is ready to produce the first coffee after just 5 minutes. The filter holder lies well and sufficiently heavy in the hand, the insertion into the group succeeds easily, although the machine does not bring very much own weight. The vibration pump is clearly audible as soon as you press the button to start the coffee brewing process. The espresso result is surprisingly good, with temperature and pressure matching well. The espresso has a round taste with a good crema. For steam extraction, the machine must first be heated up further, the steam is relatively moist and comes in bursts. It is difficult to become a world latte champion here, but it is certainly enough for a delicious cappuccino. The Silvia's price-performance ratio can hardly be topped.
