One of the oldest coffee roasting companies was founded by the Danesi family in Rome in 195. Alfredo Danesi opened a coffee roastery in the heart of Rome together with a grocery shop and a daytime café under the name 'Nencini e Danesi'. Alberto Danesi took advantage of the coffee cult that had become fashionable and opened one espresso bar after another. His resourceful son Giovanni, with a great deal of business knowledge and skill, turned the Danesi company into what it is today: one of the largest coffee import-export companies in Italy.

But what is important to the Danesi family business is the quality of the coffee. A coffee for gourmets, which almost everyone can afford.
